Kreda by De Stefani enhances the wine’s evolution through its larger format, offering greater harmony and balance over time. It reveals layered aromas of fruit, spice, and subtle tertiary notes, with a rich and persistent finish.
The wine has a deep ruby color and intense aromas of ripe fruit, prunes, and violets. It is elegant, full-bodied, and has a complex structure with velvety tannins and a wide range of tertiary aromas.
Pairs well with risotto, roasted meat, and lamb chops. Serve at 60-64℉.
Kreda is a local dialect word and means clay. These Refosco vines grow in clay soil which in turn laces this wine with minerality & a tart acidity. It is full bodied and well structured. It maintains a complex bouquet with intense scents of ripe black fruits and a wide spectrum of tertiary aromas, such as dried fruits and chocolate. It exhibits a wonderful length with layers of velvety tannins.
